My Bix’n Andy trigger is loose when fitted to a BAT 3 Lug Hanger

Dear Bullet Central,

I have fitted a Bix’n Andy trigger to a Bat 3 Lug action and the trigger is loose in the hanger, as in the trigger is narrower than the hanger. Have any of you come across this before ?

Dear Grant,

Your problem is very easily fixed. I am pleased that you noticed that the Bix’n Andy trigger is loose – this will affect accuracy. All you do is remove the trigger and hangar from the rifle, remove the trigger from the hangar and using a pair of pliers, gently squeeze the sides of the pocket of the hangar little by little until it becomes tight to slide the trigger into the pocket. You are then good to go. Just be careful not to crush the sides of the hangar as it becomes difficult to keep the hangar straight when you are expanding it.
